New Enrollment Information

2008-2009 School Year

New and Transfer Students

Enrollment for new and transfer students is handled at the Dr. Rosemary Lucas Administrative Center throughout the school year. For students who wish to enroll in the district for the beginning of the 2008-2009 school year and who were not enrolled in the district in the 2007-2008 school year, the enrollment process can be completed during the week of August 4th. From August 4 through August 8, district staff will be available to answer questions and help parents/guardians complete the required paperwork during summer business hours. No advance appointment is necessary. Please note the following:

Residency

Parents and guardians must be legal residents within the school district's boundaries. Parents and guardians will be required to prove residency before a student's enrollment is completed. Board of Education Policy 7:60 (Residence) and 7:60 AP-2 provide regulations and information regarding residency. In particular, Administrative Procedure 7:60 AP-2 (Residence) provides information on the documentation that will be required at the point of enrollment for proof of residency.
